Director of Communications

Central Presbyterian Church is seeking a person with a broad range of communications skills and experience to serve as a full time Director of Communications with flexible hours. This person will be responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies (internal and external) and general communications support for church ministries and programs. This person will design and produce all church-wide print materials, graphics, and electronic media (including web site), ensuring clear messaging across all media channels. Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; graphic design; website development and maintenance; understanding of publication and printing processes; Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, IIlustrator, InDesign); Microsoft Word and Publisher. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field; five years of related work/ministry experience with leadership responsibilities; currently practicing the personal disciplines of the Christian faith.
